Decorated, and beautiful, and lit up beside pride
I awoke Christmas morning beside the good aroma of pine
A contribution from the trees, now companions of mine
In the glow of the fireside, we 3 reminisced
Of my childhood, of Christmas, and populace we missed
How blissful I was next to my forfeit company
How joyful they were to have a family
We listened to carols, drank cocoa, and smiled
We gave thankfulness to the day, celebrating a child
The old period of time was ending, a corking one well done
